Welcome to Drive Publishing

Drive Publishing Pty Ltd was formed on July 1, 2000, by three hot rod enthusiasts to create and develop Cruzin magazine, a new magazine catering for the hot rod and custom car scene in Australia. Since that day the magazine has become the largest and glossiest magazine of its type, with over 100 pages and high quality stock used throughout.

In 2003 Drive Publishing Pty Ltd released Queensland Street Car magazine. Distributed almost solely throughout Queensland and containing mostly Queensland content, Street Car today has a band of loyal followers. As a result the Queensland Street Car forum has become one of the most popular sites on the internet for Queensland auto enthusiasts.

In July 2004, Drive Publishing Pty Ltd stepped beyond its publishing boundaries and hosted the first Cruzin Magazine Nostalgia Drags at Willowbank Raceway in Queensland. The overwhelming response from the day prompted organisers to take it to other states in Australia during 2005, and 2006 will see a nine round series taking in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Mackay.

In October 2005 the Cruzin Nostalgia Drag Racing Association (CNDRA) was formed to cater for supporters of the series and to keep in touch with regular participants for use in the magazine. A rulebook was developed based on the guidelines of Australia's most prominent drag racing body, ANDRA, who are in support of the new racing series.

Today Drive Publishing Pty Ltd has seven full time staff, including the two remaining company directors, Gavin Kelso and Wayne McGregor. Drive Publishing Pty Ltd does not look to obtain work beyond its own publications and events however does make exceptions for automotive related publications, such as the quarterley newsletter of the Australian Street Rod Federation (ASRF) titled Street Rodder News.
